WASTEWATER TREATMENT PROJECT EXPERIENCE (continued)
<<previous
Completed facilities planning studies for the following:
- Upgrade for phosphorous removal for 0.2 MGD extended aeration plant
- Upgrade for phosphorous removal for 0.3 MGD extended aeration plant
- Upgrade for phosphorous removal for 0.9 MGD stabilization pond
- New aerated lagoons for 80,000 gpd, 1,300 mg/l BOD municipal and dairy waste
- Advance Waste Treatment upgrade of a 3.0 MGD conventional activated sludge plant (for nitrification and phosphorous removal)
- Rehabilitation of two 0.3 MGD extended aeration treatment plants
- A 4 tpd municipal in-vessel sludge composting facility
- A temporary aerated static pile sludge composting facility
Performed the design of the following facilities:
- Process and odor control for two sludge pelletizing plants (industrial whey waste and sludge/septage to organic fertilizer)
- Upgrade of 0.9 MGD stabilization ponds for phosphorous removal; conversion to aerated lagoons, addition of solids contact clarifier, sludge handling, and ultraviolet disinfection
- Upgrade of 1.1 MGD trickling filter plant for nitrification; addition of second trickling filter, rehab of existing primary clarifiers, new secondary clarifier, rehab of existing anaerobic digesters
- Wastewater (effluent) recycle system to provide gray water system for base lodges at a ski resort
- New 0.2 MGD aerated lagoon treatment plant for ski resort
- Overflow control and influent hydraulics for a 5.4 MGD conventional activated sludge plant
- Over 50 miles of gravity sewers and more than a dozen pumping stations throughout Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont
- New aerated lagoons for 80,000 gpd, 1,300 mg/l BOD municipal and dairy waste
- Partial rehab of two 0.3 MGD activated sludge plants
- Design of two sludge dewatering facilities using belt filter press technology
- Several land disposal sludge management plans
- Rehabilitation of a 110,000 gallon anaerobic digester at a 1.0 MGD trickling filter plant
- Design of sulfur dioxide dechlorination system at a 0.75 MGD extended aeration activated sludge plant
- Completed an evaluation of existing combined sewer system using EPA SWMM software, to support a CSO study
Construction
- Construction administration of $200 million dollar, 83 MGD wastewater treatment plant project
- Resident engineer for a lined landfill, 8 acre cell with leachate collection on a 50 acre site, 450,000 cubic yards of excavation
- Resident engineer for construction of interceptor sewers in three large communities in Massachusetts
- Construction administration for upgrade of a 5.4 MGD activated sludge treatment plant
- Construction administration for a new 0.25 MGD water treatment plant
- Construction administration and resident engineer of several small sewer and water pipe and rehab construction projects
